Meet Our Caring Staff
Our caring staff at is a dedicated team of individuals who are committed to providing compassionate and attentive care to those in need. They are highly trained and experienced professionals who possess a deep sense of empathy and a genuine desire to help others. We are grateful for their unwavering commitment to providing exceptional care and support to those who need it most.
Veronica Dunham is a Funeral Director and Embalmer with Fir Lawn Funeral Home. She is originally from the Seattle area. In her free time, she enjoys trivia nights, exercise, and spending time with her two rambunctious cats.
Angela Ball is the Family Service Advisor at Fir Lawn Memorial Park, helping families with advance planning and at their time of loss. She knows the park well and can assist in locating graves, reviewing files, planning ahead for funeral and cemetery needs, and any other questions you may have.
Justyse Lybrand-Long serves as the Administrator for Fir Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home. She keeps the office running smoothly and coordinates cemetery needs.
Emily Tittle is our apprenice for both funeral director and embalmer. Born and raised in Oregon, she enjoys experiencing the flora and fauna of the region. In her free time you can find her drawing or tinkering with a new crafting project.
Joe Ortiz has been the Cemetery Superintendent at Fir Lawn Memorial Park for over 35 years. A long-time Hillsboro resident, Joe enjoys spending time with his family and his adorable dogs. Joe is often out taking care of the cemetery grounds, so if you see him, feel free to say hello and ask him any questions you might have. He knows a lot about the history of the cemetery.
Cliff Fountain works on the grounds at Fir Lawn Memorial Park. He has a long career working at cemeteries. You can often spot Cliff on the grounds mowing and helping with burials. He lives with his spouse and a happy new puppy.
Joey Coomer has been a licensed funeral director and embalmer since 2010. He spent most of his life in Kentucky and Indiana before relocating to the Pacific Northwest. Joey came to Fir Lawn Funeral Home in 2023 as the funeral director and location manager and now serves as the General Manager for the Portland region. He lives in Portland with his spouse and two stunning cats.
