Memorial Day Ceremony

May 27, 2023 - 11am — May 27, 2024 - 12pm

Fir Lawn Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home is hosting its annual Memorial Ceremony on Saturday May 27th at 11am. Ceremony will be Live streamed: https://bit.ly/3IJWGoO Pin to access the livestream: 441-200 The ceremony will be honoring our Military Heroes and Remember our brave women and men that passed. The ceremony will include military honors, live bugler, and guest speaker Hillsboro Mayor Steve Callaway. Please call us to add your loved one's name to the honor roll that will be read during the ceremony. On Memorial Day, Fir Lawn will also have a military exhibit on display, military uniforms and artwork exhibit will be open in our chapel, this year theme is the "US Air Force". Hotdogs, drinks and cookies will be provided. If you need multiple locations for graves, please call us in advance and we will have a map ready for you. Read More

Veterans Day

Nov. 11, 2023 — 11am

In Honor of our Veterans we will display the Armed Forces Flags, and we will be placing flags on graves to Remember those who are no longer with us. November 11 at 11am Flag Placement Honoring 1,005 American Veterans memorialized at Fir Lawn for their Patriotism, Love of Country, and Willingness to Serve & Sacrifice for the Common Good. Join us to place additional flags and patriotic pins, in Honor of your loved & respected military heroes. Refreshments available. Read More
