Theourn Leng, age 45, passed away on June 27, 2026, in Hillsboro, Oregon.

Born on August 4, 1980, in Khao I Dang Refugee Camp in Thailand, Theourn's life was a testament to resilience, kindness, and compassion. From a young age, she had a gentle spirit and a heart full of love. She had a special gift for connecting with people of all ages and making everyone around her feel welcomed, valued, and cared for.

Theourn proudly served in the United States Army for two years, an experience that helped shape her strength, character, and appreciation for life. She carried many lessons from her time in the Army throughout her years and was grateful for the experiences that helped shape the person she became.

Following her military service, Theourn built a successful career in the high technology industry. She worked for several high tech companies over the years, serving as a team leader. She was respected for her dedication, strong work ethic, and ability to support and guide those around her.

Theourn found great joy in nature and the outdoors. She was an avid mushroom enthusiast who loved foraging for wild mushrooms and berries, exploring the forest, and appreciating wildlife. She also practiced taekwondo and earned her black belt, reflecting her dedication, discipline, and perseverance. Nature brought her peace, curiosity, and a sense of wonder. She had a deep love for cats and cared for them as cherished members of her family. Music was another passion close to her heart, especially EDM and trance.

Above all, Theourn will be remembered for her compassionate heart, adventurous spirit, and the unconditional love she shared with the people and animals in her life.

She is survived by her loving mother, Mao Leng; two sisters; one brother; three nieces; two nephews; one great niece; one grandnephew; and her beloved cats, who are now being lovingly cared for by her niece, Amanda.

Though her life was far too short, Theourn leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, curiosity, and beautiful memories. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered by all who had the privilege of knowing her.
