Robert James Stroeder

Robert J. Stroeder was born in Hillsboro, Oregon on February 9, 1946 to Joseph M. Stroeder and Ada I. Robinson Stroeder.

He graduated from Hillsboro High School where his two daughters, René and JoAnna later attended.

Months after graduating he was drafted into the Army where he served two years.

In August of 1968 he started working for Leopold & Stevens where he spent the next 30 years, 3 months and 3 days. He wore his 30 year service award watch with pride, and always told everyone about his time at the company.

A big part of that is because it's where he met his wife of 45 years - Anna Fürbacher, who passed away in 2015.

He had two granddaughters, Audrey Heesch and Samantha Lamb.

Both of his siblings, Gary Stroeder and Yvonne Peterson survived him and his last six years he lived with his brother in Sheridan Oregon.
