Marj was born in Vancouver, B.C.; In April 1934, she moved to her new home in Helvetia, OR with her adoptive parents Ed & Mary Meier.
Marj enjoyed bowling, golf, gardening, her trips to NZ, AUS, CAN, her bowling tournaments in the USA, and feeding peanuts to squirrels & birds in her backyard.
Marj was preceded in death by her parents & her sister Barbara Asher. Marj is survived by her sons Jon (Janie) and Gary; ex-husband Bill; 7 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; 3great-great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, April 4th at 10:00 AM at Bethany Presbyterian Church, 15505 NW Springville Rd, Portland, OR 97229
