She was born in Delight, Ark., on Jan. 13, 1939, where she spent her early years before the family moved to Oregon.
She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking, sewing, camping and hunting.
She worked as a real estate agent.
Towards the end of her life she enjoyed dining out, shopping, bingo and time with her family.
She is survived by her sons, Randy and Mike Simantel; daughters, Toni Simantel, Tracie Marsh, Trina Sadler and Kim Bennett; their father, Ken Simantel; and 12 grandchildren.
