Joan Marie Archer, a resident of the Hillsboro community died December 24, 2011 at St. Vincent Medical Center following an extended illness.
A Funeral Mass will be held Friday, January 6, 2012 in Cathetral City, California. Graveside Services and Interment will be held at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
Joan was born in Kentucky to Emil F. and Doris L. Booker Briano. She completed her Masters Degree in teaching and spent most of her career in public education in Palm Springs, Ca.
Joan was united in marriage to Gary W. Archer. They raised two sons and were later divorced.
Survivors include her two sons, Brett Archer of Hillsboro, and Lance Archer of California.
There will be no local services held.
