Betty Myrna Buedefeldt passed away peacefully on July 2nd, 2025, while in family hospice care surrounded by love of family and friends. Myrna was a long-time resident of Hillsboro, Oregon. Born to David and Dorothy Buedefeldt on November 4th, 1939, Myrna was a wonderful daughter and helped her parents run the Laurel store during her teenage years. She loved horses and spoke often of her horse Babe that she had while growing up. Myrna would always share her soda pop with Babe, they both loved soda. Myrna graduated from Hillsboro High School in 1957 and married shortly thereafter. Following her divorce, Myrna worked and retired from Textronix, located in Beaverton, Oregon. She later took another job at Target, where she worked for over 10 years. Her favorite time of year was always Christmas; she loved the winters and Oregon rain. She would love to go for drives in the snow with the top down on the convertible. Myrna also collected Christmas decorations, especially snowmen and Santa Clauses.
She is survived by her 4 children: Vicki Marie Hains, Stephanie Anne Cochrane, Lori Michele Alexander and Lance Christian Spiering as well as 11 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great grandchildren.
A Memorial Gathering will be held at Rood Bridge Park, Hillsboro, Oregon on Saturday July 26th, from 3-5 PM.
