Belén Valentín de Hall was born January 7th 1942 in Bronx, New York. At the age of 18 she moved from New York to Puerto Rico. There she met her husband Donald Myers Hall. Together they raised 5 children with moves to Florida, Colorado, and then Oregon.
Mom was one of four children, John Boyer , Raymond Valentin, and Lourdes Hernandez. Mom had a love of raccoons, fish sandwiches from McDonalds and she loved to crochet.
Mom also loved to talk about the gospel of Jesus Christ to everyone. She was a faithful member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints for many years. She had a missionary spirit. Mom was also a registered nurse and loved that career very much.
She loved her many grandchildren and great-grandchildren with the most recent one being born on Christmas Day. Her name Belén was Spanish for Bethlehem.
She is survived by her brother, sister, and five children, John, Chris, Layne, Rachel, and Sarah. She had 20 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren at the time of her death. Mom loved and cared for everyone just as Christ did. We will miss her dearly until we meet again.
A celebration of her life will be at the LDS chapel on February 13, 2026 from 11-1 at 5580 SE Golden Rd. Hillsboro, OR 97123.
